About this workshop
Join us on a unique photography journey into the heart of rural Bengal, where you’ll document the sacred world of Gomira—its masked performers, ancient rituals, vibrant traditions, and the people who keep this cultural heritage alive. Gomira is a traditional Bengali folk art form from the Dinajpur region of West Bengal, where masked dancers perform powerful ritual dances to honour local deities and invoke the forces of good against evil. Through your lens, experience the rhythm, devotion, drama, and living traditions of Gomira up close.
