About this series
Every face carries a story. I photograph people as I encounter them — in their homes, workplaces, streets and everyday surroundings. I look for the quiet moments when personality appears naturally, without performance. These photographs are about presence rather than perfection; about people, their environments and the traces of life written across their faces. — Anjan Ghosh
